During her studies she started to work as a sex pedagogue with children and young people and as a psychosocial consultant for sexuality, partnership and parenthood. Headed by Prof. Dr. Sabine Andresen at Goethe University, Institute for Social Work and Social Education, she then worked as a research assistant within a research project dealing with sexual violence in pedagogical institutions which was supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
